How Does Traffic School & Defensive Driving Courses Work?
The online traffic school and defensive driving courses we offer are designed to make the process of completing your citation dismissal requirement as easy, fast and affordable as possible. Follow these simple steps to faster traffic citation dismissal. (May vary by state.)
1) Traffic Citations County and Court:
Check your traffic citation. The state and county which issued you the citation is the state and county you need to enroll in traffic school.
2) Registering:
Keep your traffic citation handy. Some states, like California, require information on your citation to register for traffic school. You may need your traffic citation number, the county where you received your traffic citation and the court information. This should all be found on your traffic citation/ticket. Once you've filled out your contact information, you will be able to proceed to course selection.
3) Traffic School or Defensive Driving: Depending on your state, it may be called Traffic School, Defensive Driving or Driver Improvement. Once you select your state, we will present your options for that state. All of our traffic school courses are designed according to state requirements and ensures that everyone who passes is eligible for point reduction. After you've completed the course material, you may be prompted to take a final exam. In most states, you need to pass this final exam in order to receive your certificate.
4) Certificate:
Once you've completed & passed your final exam, your traffic school /defensive driving certificate will be immediately processed. Depending on your state, you may have different options on how to receive your certificate. Most counties allow expediting in case you have a court deadline approaching and/or need proof of course completion for insurance benefits.
